4th of July weekend is almost upon us, and if you're looking to celebrate somewhere with the whole family, you can head to Marathon Park, where the Jaycees are holding their 64th annual 4th of July Celebration.
The festival features kids rides, all sorts of food, and different bands every night.
But with some of the proceeds being donated to local charities, your good time will also be helping others.
"We've donated every single year to things like Special Olympics, Marathon County Humane Society, the YMCA, Neighbors Place, that's a big one too," says Cheryl Melvin, Co-Chair for the Wausau Area Jaycees 4th of July Celebration.
The events kicked off Thursday at noon.
Tickets to the grandstand are $7.00, but will last the whole weekend. General admission and parking are free.
