The story of Charlotte's Web was heard around the world at 12pm Eastern Standard Time today..
Students from Riverside Elementary were elated to attempt to break history by joining 547 thousand students from 28 countries in reading at the same time.

"It feels awesome to break a World Record and from the other record it
was larger," said Riverside Student, Alex Vraney.
It was 11 am as students from Riverside Elementary joined hundreds of thousands of kids to break the Guiness Book of World Records for reading allowed at the same time from the famous book about chatting animals..
"That goose who always talks so fast so he has to repeat everything for wilbur," said Riverside Elementary Student, Breanna Begley.
"As a pig he's kind of funny to be talking and making friends with a spider, Riverside Elementary Student, Max Strehlow."
Besides breaking the World Records students at Riverside Elementary also have some other things on their mind. They brainstormed questions they wanted to ask the star of the movie, Dakota Fanning.
While the 12 year old actress spent the morning reading to kids, she made time to answer our questions.
Dakota spent the morning reading to kids as well but found time to talk to us.
Students wanted to know her favorite scene in the movie..
"I loved the fair. I had so much fun filming and it was like a real fair and everytimei get to watch it i remember these great memories and i got to waer one of my favorite costumes in the world. Which is my little yellow dress with the red ribbon," said Dakota Fanning.
The young star also enjoyed the movie because of the animals she got to work with.
"I love getting to work with pigs and and animals and sheep and horses and cows, it was a very new experience for me, so it was fun, " said Fanning.
Fun that the students at Riverside believe everyone can learn from.
