A hunter was found dead in Vilas County Thursday (12/7) evening. The Vilas County Sheriff's Department says the death wasn't hunting related, the 54 year old Rhinelander man apparently died of natural causes.
A 911 call came in around 5:00 p.m. Thursday (12/7), when the victim's hunting partner found him collapsed and unconscious in woods near County B and Bow Road, in the Township of Presque Isle. The man was dropped off earlier in the day.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, and authorities do not suspect foul play. The name of the man has not been released yet.
