The Veterans Memorial Parkway has been under construction for the last three years. Monday morning the city of Marshfield and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation dedicated the parkway.
The goal is to improve traffic flow into and through Marshfield. The parkway aligns Wisconsin highway 13 with two-lane rural and four-lane urban sections. It also includes two new railroad bridges.
The parkway is scheduled to open to traffic Monday, October 6.
