Trial for "The Joker" Set for Next January
Cole Vetterkind, the man accused of dressing up as "The Joker" from the latest Batman movie and breaking into his ex-girlfriend's Clark County home is scheduled to face a trial next year.

The man accused of dressing as "The Joker" during a home invasion in Clark County is scheduled to stand trial next year.
According to online court records, the trial for 26-year old Cole Vetterkind is set for January 10, 2010.
Authorities say Vetterkind painted his face like Batman's enemy in the movie, "The Dark Knight" and broke into his ex-girlfriend's home in the Town of Reseburg, southeast of Thorp. They say he choked her new boyfriend, who then shot Vetterkind in the leg.
Vetterkind pleaded not guilty to in April to burglary, battery and strangulation charges.
