The Vilas County Sheriff's Department is investigating the death of a 22-year-old Lac du Flambeau woman.
The preliminary investigation shows it could be a result of a drug overdose.
The sheriff's department received a call Tuesday morning reporting the unresponsive woman who was found at the 200-block of Chicog Street. Basic life support instructions were provided over the phone by the dispatcher and an ambulance, Lac du Flambeau Police Officer, and a Vilas County Sheriff's Deputy responded to the scene.
The sheriff says two other women were also transported to the Howard Young Medical Center. Their injuries could also be a result of a drug overdose.
The incident is still under investigation.
