Former Wausau Police Officer Enters Plea

A former Wausau police officer charged with stealing thousands of dollars from the department says he is not guilty.

Thirty-three-year-old Tony Noll pleaded not guilty to taking $2,500 from the community oriented association, and another $1,300 from the department's Boy Scouts explorer post.

He's free on a $5,000 signature bond. Noll also cannot have any contact with any of the victims or officers involved in the case. He resigned from the police force in 2001.

If guilty he could face 41 years in prison.
