Fire Damages Marathon County Supper Club
Fire officials are investigating what caused a blaze that damaged the Skylite Supper Club near Athens Tuesday.

A fire at a vacant supper club west of Athens is under investigation.
At about 12:30 Tuesday afternoon, the Athens Fire Department responded to a blaze inside the Skylite Supper Club on County Road A in the Town of Johnson.
No one was in the building when crews arrived.
Fire crews say the supper club has been vacant for quite some time and no cooking equipment was inside. The building received considerable smoke damage.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
