What: Parade and Picnic
Where: Mattoon
Mattoon Fire Station
312 Slate Ave.
When: 10 a.m.
Info: Today, the Mattoon Fire and Rescue will be holding their annual parade and picnic.
All floats welcome. There will be door prizes for all ages, and $1000.00 raffle.
What: The 7th Annual Memorial Day Chicken Feed
Where: Prescott
Freedom Park
When: 11 a.m. To 3 p.m.
What: Memorial Day program
Where: Medford, Flag Field
When: 10:30 a.m.
Info: The Medford middle school band will be playing and the Boy Scouts & Cub Scouts will be saying the pledge of allegiance.
There will be a wreath drop taking place and pigeons will be released.
What: Memorial Day Ceremony
Where: Boulder Junction, Veteran’s Memorial Triangle
When: 11 a.m.
Info: Will conclude at Pines Cemetery.
What: Fountain of Tears Statuary Dedication and Observance at Highground Veteran Park.
Where: Neillsville
When: 1 p.m.
What: Memorial Day Parade
Where: Greenwood
When: 10 a.m.
Info: The parade will run through downtown.
Also in greenwood is the American Legion Charcoal Dinner starting at 11 a.m.
What: Memorial Day Parade
Where: Loyal
When: 9:15 a.m.
Info: The parade starts at the high school. Individuals are encouraged to honor deceased veterans at the city cemetery.
