As the weather continues to warm up, fly fishing season is getting underway.
A group of instructors took students out on the Tomorrow River in Amherst to learn all about the sport. The Central Wisconsin Chapter of 'Trout Unlimited' gathers every year in May to teach the finer points of the fly fishing. Students learn how to read the water, cast and tie knots.
Instructors say fly fishing is a great way to get in touch with nature.
"Its beautiful, its serene and yet its demanding. Its not a simple sport. It requires skill that you have to develop, but one thing when you're out there, the troubles and travails of the world don't seem to make a whole lot of sense," says instructor Stu Nelson.
The group uses the profits to help protect and restore cold water fisheries like the Tomorrow River.
