SeniorCare

Gov. McCallum says he's going to make paying for prescription drugs less painful for seniors.

He announced a new program in Wausau called SeniorCare. It's designed for low-income seniors age 65 or older who are not on Medicaid. The program will cost about $100,000 and the Federal Government is footing half the bill.

Seniors can apply right away and the benefits start Sept. 1. If you are interested in SeniorCare, application forms are available at Local Aging offices and Senior Centers.
