Langlade County District Attorney Ralph Uttke says Dr. Michael Moore of Antigo pleaded guilty to manufacturing and delivering marijuana and no contest to possession of drug peraphernalia Thursday.
Judge Glenn Hartley sentenced Moore to 30-days in jail with work release and 2-years probation. Moore must also perform 160-hours of community service and $1000 in fines and court costs.
Uttke says he requested 90-days in jail.
Two other drug related charged were dropped in exchange for the plea deal.
Moore and his wife Kerry were arrested in 2007 when authorites say they found a marijuana growing operation at their rural Antigo home.
Kerry Moore pleaded guilty to reduced charges in December.
Dr. Moore was suspended, but later reinstated by the state to practice medicine.

So let me get this right... because you are a good ER Dr. it's Ok to Manufacture and Deliver Marijuana? Who do you think buys it, patients or kids? I guess it doesn't matter. WOW so is it Ok for the guy down the street to manufacture and sell it too? Maybe they should just set up shop right outside AHS, chances are many of the kids are the best clients. Where do you draw the line. Last time I checked it was illegal. WOW! I guess some people are above the law. Glad it wasn't Fred who came up with a week sentence like that, and what was Ralph thinking, 90 days, I wonder if the next person who sets up shop get's off that easy, maybe we should just tell our kids, it's OK to do and sell drugs in ANTIGO. So Heartbroken and Sad
You are both so right, and if you have ever been in the ER and had him as a Doctor you would be as glad as I am that he is back. That ER only has 2 good doctor and my opion is his is the BEST one there. He treats you like a person and listens. I have had to go to that ER and the only time the right decision was made was from him. Glad he's back. There are much bigger things to worry about go after them.
I agree. A waste of time and resources
