Attempted Jail Escape in Marathon County
Officials say they discovered missing screws in a utility hatch above one of the cells. Officials removed the hatch to find that inmates had gone into the crawl space above the hatch.
After officials discovered the escape plan, all inmates were removed and searched extensively. Three inmates have been placed in lockdown and will appear in court Tuesday morning.
