Children With Disabilities Learn How to Hunt

More than a dozen children are proving it doesn't matter if you have a disability when it comes to hunting.

The kids paired up with experienced hunters today who learned how to shoot turkeys through the United Special Sportsman Alliance Organization. The disabled children came back this afternoon proudly showing off the nine prize turkey's they were able to capture.

"It's really nice because I connect with these kinds of people I really enjoy coming up here, not just for the hunt itself, but to me everybody here was really nice," said Austin Shuler, who participated in the event Saturday.

Seventeen children took part in the event who came from as far as Indiana. If you're interested in learning more about the United Special Sportsman Alliance, follow the link below.
