Arson Charge Filed in Richland Center Blaze
A 61-year-old woman faces arson and reckless endangerment charges in the fire that destroyed a downtown building in Richland Center.

A 61-year-old woman faces arson and reckless endangerment charges in the fire that destroyed a downtown building in Richland Center.
Bond was set at $100,000 Thursday for Joen Fazel, who was charged with one count of arson and eight counts of reckless endangerment. An initial court appearance is scheduled Monday.
The fire early Tuesday destroyed four apartments and three businesses, causing damage estimated at more than $750,000.
Authorities said Fazel lived in one of the apartments. She allegedly lit a newspaper in her apartment and fled from the scene.
She remains in jail.
