NEW INFO: Name of Teen Killed in Vilas County Crash Released

The Vilas County Sheriff's Department says 16-year-old Lacy A. Bevill of Lac Du Flambeau has died after a one vehicle crash last weekend.
Crews were called to the scene just before 7 p.m. Sunday on STH 47, near CTH H.
The initial investigation shows the vehicle was heading north on 47 when it crossed the centerline and went into a ditch, hit some trees, and rolled on its side.
Two occupants of the vehicle were taken to Howard Young Medical Center. Lacy Bevill was pronounced dead at the scene.
The State Patrol, Lac du Flambeau Police Department, the Vilas County Sheriff's Department and the Coroner's Office are investigating the crash.

Lacy was a wonderful girl. She was a neighbor, and friend to my daughter. I have watched her grow up with my little girl. If you ever met lacy you will know that she was a very down to earth girl. Its so hard to believe that she is gone. She will be sadly missed by all of us. Miss you girl.
