It means more to Wisconsin's economy than the $300 million per year skiing industry does to Colorado. Snowmobiling is a $1.1 billion industry in the badger state, and that's why thousands of snowmobile enthusiasts were in Stevens Point Saturday for the Annual Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile Clubs Workshop.

The workshop focused on educating snowmobilers on the issues that affect them.

First on that list is keeping a good, working relationship between the trail users and landowners who allow their property to be ridden on.

"They're the host, we're the guest," said Morris Nelson, Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile Clubs, "We have to take care of them, we do so many things to make sure that we don't mess up, that situation or that relationship"

Wisconsin has about 25,000 miles of trails; 90 percent are on private land.
