The Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation will look into an incident that left a 41-year-old man dead.
According to a news release from the Adams County Sheriff's Department, deputies responded to a home in the Town of Preston early Wednesday morning for the report of gunshots. Deputies confronted the man, Douglas G. Natzke, who was armed. A deputy fired his weapon and fatally wounded the man.
Sheriff Sam Wollin says the deputy that fatally wounded the man has been with the department for four years.
