A Wisconsin-based ice cream manufacturer is asking 4-H groups to submit a recipe and name for their newest flavor of ice cream.
The “Create and Name the Centennial Ice Cream Flavor” contest from Cedar Crest in Cedarburg, is open to all 1,600 Wisconsin-based 4-H clubs. The winning club will receive a Cedar Crest Ice Cream Party and a $300 cash prize.
Contest entries are due August 30.
The winning flavor will be produced during June Dairy Month 2014.
The winning flavor in last year’s contest was CranRaspberry Cheesecake created by the Sunnyside Climbers 4-H Club in Plover.
