Three people in Clark County are behind bars after two heroin busts.
On Friday, October 14, 2011, the Clark County Sheriff’s Department, with assistance from the West Central Drug Task Force and Marshfield Police Department conducted a search warrant at a Town of Longwood residence. The search warrant was obtained after an investigation of possible drug activity at the residence.
The search resulted in 114 grams of packaged heroin being located at N13713 Cty Hwy O. Both residents Norberto A. Nevarez, 45, and his wife Bobbie C. Nevarez, 43, both of Withee were taken into custody. Norberto is being charged with Maintaining a Drug Premise. Bobbie is being charged with Maintaining a Drug Premise and Mfg/Del/Distribute Heroin.
This investigation also led to the search of a second residence at 412 1st Street in the Village of Withee. Angela L. Schulte, 25, WIthee, was arrested for Maintaining a Drug Premise; Mfg/Del/Distribute Heroin and Possession with intent to Deliver Heroin. Seven grams of heroin were located at Schulte’s residence.
Investigation is continuing and more arrests are expected in this case.
