Because of the economic meltdown, you may find yourself facing job interviews for the first time in a long time.
One local organization is trying to help.
Wausau Morning Toastmasters, a group dedicated to helping people improve leadership and speaking skills, is presenting a job finding workshop.
Tuesday evening at the Marathon County Public Library, the public is invited to learn techniques to nail a job.
"We just think that there's so many people that unfortunately have been affected by the economy and are out looking for a job. Many of those individuals probably have not recently looked for employment," said Laurie Prochnow, vice president of the club's membership.
Prochnow recommends when updating your resume, make it based on accomplishments rather than job duties and responsibilities.
If you land an interview, she suggests really selling yourself, and be prepared by thinking of certain experiences in which you've excelled.
