Man Charged in Year-Old Clark County Murder Case

The alleged crime took place southeast of the village of Colby on July 15 of last year.

According to the criminal report, there was an argument between Jeffrey Schultz and Adam Falconer over a drug deal that had gone bad. According to the report, Falconer owed Schultz between $60 and $80 for drugs. So, Schultz shot him twice in the abdomen while in his car, and later shot him in the back of the head.

The report says Schultz also shot another individual, Darrell Pruitt, in the hand.
The report says Schultz then buried Falconers body.

In the report, police have statements from various witnesses including Pruitt, who said Schultz had put a shovel in the back of his car prior to leaving on the evening of July 15.

Also in the report, his ex-girlfriend said that Schultz had taken her to two places which he said we perfect spots to bury someone, and that he had talked about killing Adam Falconer.

Besides the charge of first-degree intentional homicide, Schultz faces charges of hiding a corpse, obstructing an officer, and injury by negligent use of a dangerous weapon.

No court date has been set at this time.
