Cequent Trailer Products is moving its manufacturing to its plant in Mosinee. Employees at the Wausau plant were informed of the move Thursday.
The company says it is re-locations to Mosinee to stay competitive in the marketplace. Their goal is to manufacture a greater number of parts and accessories for light trucks and utility vehicles.
The company formerly known as Hammer Blow Corporation has been in Wausau for over 90 years.
