Thirty-two-year-old Cody Reetz showed no emotion when given his sentence by Sheboygan County Circuit Judge Timothy Van Akkeren. Reetz was convicted of substantial battery, attempted kidnapping and possessing child pornography.
District Attorney Joe DeCecco says Reetz never apologized to the victim for what he put her through.
DeCecco says the attack could have led to the woman's death if a Sheboygan police officer hadn't intervened while the two struggled outside the victim's home on June seventh of last year.
