Life is tough when you need a wheelchair and can't afford one. Now there's a way you can help the thousands of people who are in this situation.
The Wheelchair Recycling Program wants your old wheelchairs, walkers, canes, crutches and other medical equipment before you throw them away.
The goal is to provide mobility with dignity. That's why all clients' records are kept confidential.
They say it doesn't matter what shape the equipment is in, they'll take it.
The donations are tax deductible and can be dropped off at Lake of the Torches June 28 and 29.
