There's some good news for travelers in the Northwoods. The Rhinelander airport may have additional flights to get people to the East Coast.
The Federal Government awarded the airport a half a million dollar grant. It's the only airport in the state to get the funds. The money will be used to set up flights with Northwest's hub in Detroit.
The airport manager says that will help many customers get to where they are going faster and help the airport's bottom line.
Joe Brauer wants to see service start this fall.
