The job market is dim for Americans across the country, especially for teenagers.

The nation's unemployment rate is 6.1 percent, the highest level it's been in nine years.

There are resources on the web to help teens find a job, like Teens4hire.org. The website says that although employers are hiring those that are older and more experienced, there is still hope in finding summer employment.

Businesses in Marathon County are also hiring. Fast food restaurants, movie theatres, retailers and hospitals are all places that usually hire teens. The site urges teens to be aggressive and keep options open.
