Kerry Moore, the wife of an Antigo doctor, pleaded guilty Tuesday morning to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Langlade County District Attorney Ralph Uttke says the 38-year old Moore must pay $1200 in fines and court costs and will lose her drivers license for six months.

Three other drug charges were dropped in exchange for the plea.

42-year old Dr. Michael Moore is scheduled for a jury trial on drug charges next month.

They are possession of with intent to deliver marijuana, manufacture with intent to deliver marijuana, maintaining a drug trafficing place and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Moores were arrested when authorities say they found a secret room filled with a marijuana growing operation at their home outside of Angito in July, 2007.

Dr. Moore was suspended, but later reinstated by the state to practice medicine.

A hospital spokeswoman says he is working as an emergency room doctor for Langlade Memorial Hospital.

This is ridiculous that this woman got away with this. It will be interesting to see what he gets. Obvious hard work on behalf of the police force and for only a slap in the face. That's sad.

You have to love the system! A Dr. wife, mother of two, who grows pot in a hidden room!Humm, she gets off with a slap on the hands? What about the fact of 4.7 lb found dried and ready to be sold to our children in this community?Or the fact of a loaded GUN in the Special room? What an oustanding role model for her children while she profits getting other's children hooked on drugs! Can't help but wonder why w proof so in the DAs face this happened? Guess she'll blame her husband for it all! How horrible she can't be more supportive of her husband and take what should have been a shared conviction, guess that say's alot about her!

Dr. Moore is an excellent clinician and I would hope we would allow the justice system to do its thing and let his work speak for itself. Must be a slow news day to cover this.

The Antigo Taliban is functioning as usual under the watchful eye of The Ayatollah Uttke with the steel fist of his "Illegal to be happy" Police Force.

Things must of been slow in the ER that a Dr. would need to sell marijuana on the side. Sad news. Hope they have more than one ER in Antigo.
