More high-tech jobs could soon be coming to our community.
Gov. Scott McCallum came to the Marshfield Clinic to announce the Technology Zone Program. It brings five million dollars in tax credits to a nine county region in north central Wisconsin.
Businesses just starting up or those expanding can apply. The tax credit is based on their ability to create high-tech jobs.
The Technology Zone is also designed to encourage partnerships within the nine county region.
