Deadline Approaching for Wisconsin Film Festival
The deadline for filmmakers with Wisconsin ties and general filmmakers is Dec. 1.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- The deadline is approaching for filmmakers who want to enter their work in the Wisconsin Film Festival.
The deadline for filmmakers with Wisconsin ties and general filmmakers is Dec. 1. For Wisconsin college students or Wisconsin residents who attend college in another state, the deadline is Dec. 31.
The annual four-day festival is open to films from around the world.
The next festival is from April 3 to April 6 in 10 downtown Madison theaters. More than 30,000 people saw 220 films at last year's festival.
The University of Wisconsin Arts Institute started the festival in 1999.
