CLEVELAND (AP) _ Another tribute is coming soon for Wisconsin's guitar wizard Les Paul.
The Waukesha native known as the father of the electric guitar is to be honored at the Rock and roll Hall of Fame's annual American Music Masters series. The weeklong event starts Monday at the hall in Cleveland.
Paul is part artist and part inventor. At age 93 he still performs weekly at the Iridium Jazz Club in New York City.
He'll perform at a tribute concert November 15th that caps the American Music Masters series. For that one, he'll be joined by a legion of guitar virtuosos, including Slash, Duane Eddy, Billy Gibbons and the Ventures.
