UWSP Professor Called to Active Duty

The UW-Stevens Point professor, Lt. Col. Ralph Slawicki was recently called to active duty in Iraq.

Slawicki will command the seventh battalion of the 101st airborne division.

His duties include flying the chinook helicopters, which are used for delivering mail and supplies to soldiers.

Slawicki departs for his mission Monday morning and will serve for two years.
