Tuition May Go Up for UW-Stevens Point

The state's budget cuts may affect tuition costs at UW Stevens Point.

Tom George, chancellor of the university, says the decision to raise tuition isn't definite, but students should expect as much as an 18 percent increase.

George says the increase could actually benefit students, keeping class sizes down and class selection up.

If tuition goes up, it will be the largest increase in the U-W system.
