Grass Fire in Lincoln County Blamed on Vehicle Exhaust

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Department says the hot exhaust system from an SUV is believed to be the cause of a grass fire in the Town of Schley Friday.
Authorities say it happened just after 12:30 p.m. behind a home on County Highway C.
The Russell FIre Department was able to extinguish the blaze.
The Sheriff's Department says a 13-year-old boy at the home admitted to driving an SUV around the field just before the fire started. The hot exhaust from the vehicle is believed to have caused the blaze.
