Two 16-Year-Olds Involved In Early Morning High Speed Chase
Lieutenant Dale Wisnewski with the Marathon County Sheriff Department says at about 5:15 a.m. Sunday morning, a complaint was called into their department regarding two teens who were involved in reckless driving.

Lieutenant Dale Wisnewski with the Marathon County Sheriff Department says at about 5:15 a.m. Sunday morning, a complaint was called into their department regarding two teens involved in reckless driving in the town of Stettin.
Lieutenant Wisnewski says the teens were spotted driving on Stettin Drive near 136th and 152nd Avenue, when a high speed chase ensued. He says the chase reached speeds of 100 m.p.h.
The Lieutenant says officers had to use stop sticks near Highway 29 and S Drive in order to stop the chase.
Lieutenant Wisnewski says he expects the two 16-year old male drivers to be charged with disorderly conduct and underage consumption of alcohol. He says the driver will also be charged with reckless endangerment, fleeing an officer and transporting intoxicants.
The 16-year old male driver who was driving with a permit, is from Marathon City and the16-year old male passenger is from the Rib Falls area. Both were released to their parents following the incident.
