An accident in Vilas County has left one dead and one other person injured.
A car versus motorcycle crash happened Monday (7/10) afternoon in Land o' Lakes on Highway 45, just north of County E.
Ronald Monson, 60, the driver of the motorcycle, suffered severe head trauma and was pronounced dead at Eagle River Memorial Hospital.
Monson was from Sayner, and authorities do not know if he was wearing a helmet. Officials say the car, driven by Ashley Lamoreaux of Land o' Lakes, turned in front of the motorcycle while trying to enter the driveway of a business.
Lamoreaux, 18, had bumps and bruises, and the passenger in the vehicle was not injured.
Wisconsin State Patrol is still investigating the crash.
