Sen. Barack Obama is urging his Wisconsin supporters to vote before Election Day as his campaign increased its focus on early voting.
The Illinois Democrat says in a video clip e-mailed to supporters yesterday to go to the local clerk's office and vote.
Obama's pitch was recorded before he took the stage at a La Crosse rally this month.
It's part of his campaign's push to get supporters to vote at clerk's offices or through the mail before Election Day.
Sen. John Kerry will ask voters statewide to vote early today in several rallies. Other prominent Democrats, including Gov. Jim Doyle and Sen. Russ Feingold, will hold similar events around the state later this week.

I see no problem with voting early if one wishes to. Perhaps not everyone knows this is an option. Senator McCain is doing the same thing. They were handing out absentee ballots at the Mosinee rally.
