Marshfield Police is still working to determine what drug two teens overdosed on when they were found unconscious around 12:21 a.m. Monday morning.

Police Chief Gary Jepsen said officers were called to Kohlbeck's Laundry on the 600 block of E. 4th Street after receiving a tip.

When police arrived a Pittsville woman and a Wausau man, both 19, needed medical care. The man was treated at Riverview Hospital, released, and transported to the Wood County Jail. The woman was admitted to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.

Police are recommending the man be charged with 2nd degree Reckless Endangering Safety after police say he admitted to giving the woman drugs.

Police say two Mosinee women, ages 18 and 20, were arrested for obstructing an officer after giving investigating officers false information.

Online court records show so far criminal charges have not yet been filed.

The names of the people involved have not yet been released.
