Three Wendy's restaurants in western Wisconsin will close next month affecting 70 workers.
According to WEAU-TV, two of the restaurants are in Eau Clarie and the other is in Chippewa Falls.
The franchisees blame construction and too much debt for the closings.
The franchisees say there are many great people working at Wendy's, both managers and crew, including a few 15-20 year veterans. They ask if anyone has job openings to contact them at wendyschippewavalley@yahoo.com
Wendy's is expected to return to Eau Claire, but no specific time was given.
All three restaurants will close November 21.
