SIREN, Wis. (AP) -- Two people have died in a crash on State Highway 35 in western Wisconsin, while three others were airlifted from the scene for medical treatment.
According to KSTP-TV, Burnett County Sheriff Dean Roland says the crash between a pickup truck and a van happened at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday in the Town of Swiss, about 16 miles north of Siren. He says two of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene by the Burnett County Medical Examiner.
The names of those involved and the conditions of those hospitalized have not been released.
