When spring and summer finally get here, another season begins as well - construction season. Department of Transportation Officials say $100 million worth of construction projects and aid are planned for 2003.
"We're going to be adding runways, extending runways at airports in the area," said Frank Busalacchi, Wisconsin's Department of Transportation Secretary.
"We're also continuing to work on Highway 10 in Portage County," said the director of the DOT's District 4, "working from the Waupaca area towards the Stevens Point area, continuing to expand that highway to a four-lane facility."
The DOT's secretary says the administration plans to get these projects accomplished without raising taxes.
