Prosecutors say they will charge a 16-year-old as an adult for stabbing a man on Wausau's East Side.
It happened just after five Wednesday night. Police say the 16-year-old and an 18-year-old man got into an argument on the corner of 7th and Washington Street. Officers say the fight turned physical and the 16-year-old stabbed the man in the stomach.
The victim was treated and released from the hospital.
