Southwest Airlines is under fire because of a new company policy.

The airline wants larger passengers to pay for seats. According to the company Web site, any passenger who's girth is larger than an aircraft seat is required to pay an additional fare.

Some people say the new rule discriminates against overweight passengers and they're ready to file a lawsuit.

However some say it will make traveling more comfortable for everyone on board.

The controversial policy starts next Wednesday.
