Senator Russ Feingold says healthcare is still the one of the biggest concerns for people all over Wisconsin.
He met with residents in Manitowish Waters and Minoqua for a listening session Tuesday (5/30/06).
The Democrat says Wisconsin residents are asking for a universal healthcare system.
Feingold told us he plans to introduce a pilot program where some states would try a statewide healthcare program with help from the federal government.
"I don't think we're going to be able to pass something that guarantees it for all 50 states right away, but I think if two or three states say, look, it's really great and it worked well for us, it will catch on."
