Family Says Pleasant Prairie Soldier Killed by Roadside Bomb
The family of a 22-year-old soldier from Pleasant Prairie says he was to return home in July.

The family of a 22-year-old soldier from Pleasant Prairie says he was to return home in July.
The family of U.S. Army Specialist Eric D. Clark says he died on Thursday (May 11, 2006) when his Humvee hit a roadside bomb in Iraq.
They told WITI-TV in Milwaukee that he had been serving in Iraq since August of last year.
Clark's mother, Joanne Marfechuck says he counting the days until he he could come home.
She said she had spoken with him last Sunday (May 7, 2006) and everything was fine.
Clark's body was already back in the U.S. and was expected to return to Pleasant Prairie later in the week.
Clark's little brother, Evan Clark, said he wants to be just like his big brother when he grows up.
He said his brother stood up for people and was known throughout the area.
The military has yet to announce Clark's death.
