A Saturday fundraiser intended to help a shelter for victims of domestic abuse and sexual assault is reaching new heights.
The 5th Annual Fly-in at the Langlade County Airport in Antigo gets better every year.
This year's event will feature free plane rides for kids by the Young Eagles Program and an airshow with a professional aerobatics pilot.
All profits will go directly to the shelter and will help keep its doors open.
"We couldn't do it without the support of the community. We thank everybody that has helped us get to where we are today and we hope to get a lot further," said Sarah Cofer, volunteer coordinator for AVAIL.
Cofer says the public is welcome to enjoy the event and have a hearty belgium waffle breakfast or chicken dinner.
For every dollar raised, the non-profit will receive five dollars in grant money.
