With the costs of war piling up, a democratic senator says it's important to support President Bush, both morally and financially.
U.S. Senator Herb Kohl says it would be a mistake to enter into war and then not fund it. Although he says he hopes the war ends as soon as possible, Kohl says he supports President Bush's request for $75 million to fund Operation Iraqi Freedom.
"Naturally, he's going to get that," Kohl said. "This money is for our troops. It goes to see that they're equipped, that they're fed, that they're housed."
The Senator had previously criticized the President for failing to include enough money in the budget for the war in Iraq.
