GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) _ Decisions, decisions, decisions.
That's what the Green Bay Packers face as they make the final roster cuts today to get to the NFL's 53-man limit for the regular season.
Among those decisions is whether to keep new long-snapper J.J.
Jansen, who has suffered a knee sprain.
Jansen's agent Paul Sheehy says his client sprained the lateral collateral ligament in his left knee, which is not considered a major injury.
Sheehy says Jansen should be ready to play in the season opener September 8th against the Minnesota Vikings.
But the Packers still must decide if they want to stick with Jansen, who signed as an undrafted rookie from Notre Dame, or look for someone else to be the long-snapper.
