The union representing support staff in the Wausau School District is giving the thumbs up to a new contract.
Union president Maureen Socha says it was given the thumbs up by an overwhelming majority, an estimated 85%.
Support staff includes secretaries, para-educators and interpreters.
They've been working without a contract for nearly 2-years.
A spokesman for the school district says the contract is a 3-year deal that includes a 5.2% increase in pay and benefits.
The school board is expected to vote on the contract, Monday.
