EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (AP) -- About 30 hotel guests had to find another place to stay when a fire broke out Sunday night in Eau Claire.
The Quality Inn, as well as Mancino's restaurant and O'Leary's Pub, were evacuated as firefighters worked to put out the blaze, which was extinguished shortly before 9 p.m.
No one was injured. Fire officials said they would continue to investigate the cause of the fire Monday.
Amy Erickson of Winona, Minnesota says she wasn't sure there was a fire because the smoke alarms weren't very loud.
Another guest, Bob Jackley of St. Charles, Minnesota and housekeeping supervisor Roberta McCormick went room to room, knocking on doors to make sure everyone was out.
